then this video i came across from sound and fury of paint it black. little atheist rant at the start into myself getting in the first stage dive of the song, then a huge fail at around 0.55, with my boxer shorts hanging out ha ha loser. then keep an eye at the bottom left corner for me looking like a huge idiot loosing my shit. it sounded nothing like it does on the video. it sounded fucking amazing, clip doesn't do sound justice.. obviously.
Arrived in NYC yesterday lunch time to meet mark at the airport, we headed to our hostel which is right near time square, waited for Alex and Leon to rock up then went to stroll the city. today we went a bit deeper into the city having a look around ground zero, central park and wall st. should be a fun week, this place is insane. re building Alan chipa rennick NYC pizza NYC night paaaamm dead president Neon Leon
So tonight my flight to new york was supposed to be at 11.30, i got to the airport around 7 to find out it had been delayed and wont be leaving till 2am, this fucking sucks and doesn't surprise me it all, it seems to be that all domestic flights in the states get delayed. but what can you do? today i had some time to waste before i rode the bus up to LA, so i thought i would check out some shops, i ended up purchasing 2 new cameras, so prepare for more party photos,as taking the d400 out at night isn't a possibility. so i went with a handy little cyber shot, gets the job done then i came across this beast, a lomo camera with a built in fish eye, 35mm film. i should be able to get some pretty cool shots with this and will be rad to have the hard prints in my hands, funny thing is I've never had a film camera my self. I'm so year 2000digitalmang.

Being away from home, my body is feeling the effects of being run down, its not easy to eat well while on the road. so ive turned to vitamin water, after much talk of how a drink can pack so many different vitamins, i think it can only be good thing. yeha it just taste like cordial and if i was at home i wouldnt bother paying $4 for a 600ml bottle, but over here its a $1.30. easyer than dropping a heep of pills every morning.
i havent got the camera out once here.. which sucks cause its such a cool place. it reminds me alot of perth, its not a massive city and its close to the beach, im staying just down the road from the baseball stadium.. in what has been the best hostel ive stayed at so far. im by my self and ive had a pretty good week.
i got here monday night, and booked my self to go to Tijuana in Mexico for a day trip. It was good fun and i got to go to some sweet bars and hell strippers joint. nice.
then tuesday i finaly saw the new batmang movie, its pretty good but everyone talked it up to be mind blowing, it defs went for to long, i spent most of the day in the city looking around and got a sweet new jacket.
wednesday i hit up the flow rider, ive wanted to ride one of these all my boogieboarding life, and it was seriousley the funnest thing ive done since ive been away and its a left! so i was pretty much in my element, but it was so hard on my body and i was already suffering a sore neck from the weekend. but pretty much i took the place apart haha and had a whole heep of people cheering. best wave i pulled was a spin into the barrel then pulled up and rolled out onto the flats, somehow pulled back in and flicked an ars ,not even off the top ahha, landed backwards then fell off. when i got washed through to the channel everyone was cheering and the life guard gave me a high 5 haha.
so today i heard there was a new swell coming, so i got my board and got the bus to the beach to get a real wave. it was pretty shit house and was packed aswell, i surfed for about half an hour, and the bus ride sucked. tomorrow im catching the bus up to LA, to fly out to NYC, its going to be good to see mark again, swap stories and party. werd
Being such a full on weekend, a few things have just come to mind
