its raining?

well today its raining and really dark, its kinda good concidering its been over 30 most days for the past few months, but i remember a day last year where it was like this. i was working as a concreter out near donnybrooke somewhere, and it was pissing down so much. i was off it cause usally if its raining we go home back to bed, but my boss was pushing to do 100 square meters, which is huge on any day!. the concrete company had said we were the only people ordering for the day and that we were crazy for even thinking about it. it was fucked.. but most of the area we are doing is under cover.. so you can kinda work around it

so concrete truck rocks up and to this big fuck off steep driveway, and gets half way up.. fuck! we have to push the wheel barrows up hill in the rain to get to the under cover area.. this is fucked. i go get the radio and turn it up really loud so i can hear it from where ever i am. at the time the evens were doing their australian tour, and i hear they will be interviewing ian mackaye in half hour. so i think thats pretty cool.

he comes on and starts talking about early dc days and hes relationship with rollins and hes record label, hes carrying on, really well spoken man. the truck driver pouring the concrete into my wheel barrow is like "whooo is this fuckhead" im like "its ian mackaye, used to singer for minor threat"... "who?".. ahh dont worry, dero cunt wouldnt of even known who big maxy cav was.(soulfly lol). anyway, they ask him to play some songs, he starts off with some whacked out popy electro influnced song with a girl singing, like shiny toy guns or something, i cant remember for me life, but it was shocking i was pissed off haha. but to finish off hes interview they played fugazi waiting room, which is probs the best song ive heard tripple j play during the day. so big thumbs up and it kinda made the day a bit better for a few minutes.. cause it really was a shocking day.. fuck

heres a little interview with mackaye with some like funny man or something, i cant tell if mackaye knows to take him seriouse or not cause he clearly knows hes a moron haha..
